Do you have “those” girlfriends? The ones who make you laugh. The ones that keep things light when they need to be yet they can hold space when things are tough. My friend Katy Brown is one of those girls. She super reliable, trustworthy, fun and is a great listener. She doesn’t try to fix… just let’s you talk and offers solutions IF you ask.
Katy puts the sassiness in girls night because she understands the importance of quality time. She gets out the funny cocktail napkins. You know, the ones that say things like “If drinking on the porch counts, then yes, call me outdoorsy.”
That Gaggle of Men in the photo hang off of our glasses so we can know which drink is ours. All the boys have their names on their booty. (I usually pick Brad, also my husbands name). Wine glass Brad is averse to hanging on the glass so he dives right in for some red liquid refreshment.

Katy keeps it light AND she’s known to top your wine off after two sips so I watch her! Cause… no one wants to lose count. I’m wise enough to use one of those cute party coasters to sit on top of my glass while she walks around filling everyone up. I see you Katy!
Katy brings naughty card games to girls night and she even has a handsome blow up doll that we call “The Dude”. I think he may actually be part of a game and never the less, he’s like family. Don’t we ALL need a Katy? That friend who can keep it light AND dig deep?
